365 Cards: Sketchy #20 and Basic Grey: Recycle #40

This card was inspired by the sketch on: http://365cards.blogspot.com/2011/03/day-20-super-sketchy-sunday.html

Also, the challenge on Basic Grey: http://basicgreychallenges.blogspot.com/2011/03/challenge-40-something-recycled.htmlo to use something recycled as well as Basic Grey products.  The background paper I used is from the “Perhaps” collection called “Julia” ( per739).  I recycled a button card that I found at the thrift store into my card design.  According to my friend Tammy, sewing notions are all the rage now and currently appearing on lot’s of card fronts.  The sentiment matches the vintage feel of the birthday greeting.

Hello! I'm a 50 something wife and mother of two girls ~ I started Blogging in March of 2011 on Blogger and just converted to WordPress in Dec 2019. I started paper crafting in 1995 when I first tried embossing with powder, I was so excited and couldn't believe it was so easy to make something so beautiful. Creativeseconds was started as a way of selling secondhand craft supplies and cards on Ebay and Etsy. You will find creative cards, tags, and paper crafting projects here as well as craft room organizational ideas. Follow along with me and comments are welcomed and appreciated.
