365 Cards #168 vintage plus red

The challenge on 365 cards is to create a card with something vintage and something red.  I dug in my vintage box and found this great sticker of a trunk with a red quilt sticking out.  I thought about this rubber stamp in my stash that reads “sewing mends the soul” and from there I got the idea to add some sewing items to the front.  When I found that all the items I wanted to add wouldn’t fit, I decided to cut out the inside of the trunk and have the vintage sewing needles rest half inside the trunk and half out! bingo ~ I’m very pleased with the outcome, and think this card would make a great gift to give a sewing friend.
