Hooray! LIM 232, OLS 18

Great for a boy who just made the team, or as a thank you note for the coach etc.  I made this for two challenges this week:

LIM 232 Less is more: Masculine
 One-Layer Simplicity: Sparkle and Shine

The baseball image was a project life card that I circle punched, and edged the sides with black ink.  I punched stars along the bottom of the card and used the same punch to cut stars out of red and silver sparkle paper.  I lined up the die cut pieces inside so the stars shine through and leave the card flat. Stamping “Hooray” makes this card versatile for all types of baseball victories.

Hello! I'm a 50 something wife and mother of two girls ~ I started Blogging in March of 2011 on Blogger and just converted to WordPress in Dec 2019. I started paper crafting in 1995 when I first tried embossing with powder, I was so excited and couldn't believe it was so easy to make something so beautiful. Creativeseconds was started as a way of selling secondhand craft supplies and cards on Ebay and Etsy. You will find creative cards, tags, and paper crafting projects here as well as craft room organizational ideas. Follow along with me and comments are welcomed and appreciated.

  1. What a great masculine card! Love the use of the negative space of the punched stars and glitter. Just perfect! Thanks for joining us at the One-Layer Simplicity Challenge!
