I needed to make a birthday card so the sketch challenge at AAA helped me to get started. This card took a lot longer then normal and I took a picture so you can see why:
I stamped the image and embossed it three times before I was happy with the results. The one purple paper was textured so the image didn’t stamp well and the white was just too white. I also went through ALL my embossing folders looking for the right texture to put on the purple paper to put my tea cup on & that took 2 tries as well. I wanted this to be more birthday themed so I embossed the word birthday and fussy cut and pasted over the word “winter”. Not exactly “clean and simple” but I kept trying to balance the card and well I just kept adding embellishments! Also added this card to Dare 2B Artzy for the “winter” theme and 613 Avenue Create for the “shiny” challenge.
