Valentine’s Sketch Challenges

Atlantic heart sketch got me started with sketch #351. I started with random Valentine colors and ended up with these four die cuts from Papertrey Ink. The Valentine’s sentiment was actually a clearance item tag from target with a new bow.

My second card sketch is from Tuesday morning Sketches:

I made a child’s valentine card to send to“send a smile for Kids” . Here I used a valentine lizard from The Angel Company (TAC) and got some use from my washi tape collection as well as a die cut edge to complete my valentine.

Footnote: I finished my recent to do list and started back on organizing my metal dies today. I even made it to a yoga class today (small victory dance!!) ~ Thanks for reading!

Hello! I'm a 50 something wife and mother of two girls ~ I started Blogging in March of 2011 on Blogger and just converted to WordPress in Dec 2019. I started paper crafting in 1995 when I first tried embossing with powder, I was so excited and couldn't believe it was so easy to make something so beautiful. Creativeseconds was started as a way of selling secondhand craft supplies and cards on Ebay and Etsy. You will find creative cards, tags, and paper crafting projects here as well as craft room organizational ideas. Follow along with me and comments are welcomed and appreciated.

  1. Love both cards, Karen. The papers you used for the AHSC are lovely! Isn’t it fun to find a use for pretty things we stash? Thank you for joining our sketch challenge this week.
I am involved with SAS4Kids, as well – happy to see posting about that 🙂 I get so many pretty cards from crafters around the country to bring to my two hospitals in Tacoma and Seattle. Greatly appreciated!♥
