CAS(E) this sketch When I saw this sketch, I thought of the three swirly bird die cuts that I had made with various shades of gray paper and hadn’t yet used. I found a scrap piece of DSP from Stampin Up and glued down the dies and decided to add more texture by using an embossing folder from We R Memory keepers. I really liked the results! but, now what to add? CCEE Stampers said that it’s “International Hot Air Balloon Week”, so I found my stamp set by Papertrey ink called “Up, up and away” and another piece of grey patterned paper and stamped and die cut two balloons. The sentiment and the die are also Stampin Up products.

Tip: the above photo shows my box of card fronts in various colors all ready to go, this helps in two ways. Number one, when you cut a full piece of card stock and your only making one card you have some place to safely store the other half. Number two, when your trying to decide what color and/or shade of card base you want you don’t have to pull out full sheets of paper, you have them at the ready! I was looking at shades of grey, but went with black because I thought it highlighted the balloons more. Thanks for reading!
The hot air balloon, wavy lines and geometric like paper are awesome. Stunning!
