Bee my honey

I found the Sketch at CAS coulours & sketches first, and then Shopping our Stash suggested “The great outdoors” as a theme. I remembered several Cricut critters I scored on Ebay awhile back, and decided on this adorable bumble bee. I looked through my box of precut backgrounds (most are 4 x 5.25) and chose this cool ombre patterned paper.

I think it has a nice honeycomb vibe going on don’t you? I then picked the darker yellow polka dot paper to die cut in a circle and emboss using a honeycomb folder. I felt like the sentiment was a gift when I found it in my “friends” stamp drawer. I think this will make a sweet thinking of you/love note for someone special.

I also found The sisterhood of crafters is requesting the use of patterned paper today for their challenge, so I’m entering there as well. Bee Happy 🙂
