Hello fellow home bodies! I’m hearing lot’s of positive people posting about spending more quality time crafting, and I love that! This post is in honor of T for Tuesday and all the wonderful creative people who share on Bluebeard and Elisabeth’s blog.
Last Wednesday I took myself out to a coffee shop in town (Virginia Beach) called Bad Ass Coffee. There is a legend behind the name:

I enjoyed a wonderful strong Americano in a fun mug

Perfect day for a walk on the boardwalk after. This is what the oceanfront looks like before the tourist season. When in full swing you won’t be able to see much of the sand just lots and lot’s of people.

Here is my tag for “Tag Tuesday” where the theme is women. I was given a cigar box full of used postage stamps from a friend who collects them and I finally started to sort them out. I couldn’t decide on an image to put over them or a sentiment to use as I didn’t want to cover there faces, so I’m leaving it as is and I think I’ll use it as a bookmark.
Stay well and keep crafting!
I LOVE how you used the variety of postage stamps to cover a tag- very cool! Thanks for sharing about Bad ass Coffee- I had heard of this brand but didn’t know the story. Lovely, lovely beach scenes! And yes, blessed to be near the water. It’s a dream of ours…happy T day Karen!

I love your tag, Karen. The stamps are terrific and they really speak to the Tag Tuesday theme. I agree you were right to just let them shine on their own.
Happy T-day! Eileen xx

A super idea to use the stamps to create the fabulous tag. I’ve never heard of that brand of coffee but its name made me smile.
Happy T day wishes and stay safe.

I’ve never been to Virginia Beach and it is nice to see it as it really is. A nice beach walk would be nice right now. And that is a super tag. I like those ladies. Glad to meet you at T day and hope that Bad ass coffee was good. Hope it was a good T day and stay healthy. Hugs-Erika

Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos, too. Happy T Day, and thanks so much for joining us at Tag Tuesday, that made me very happy! Hugs, Valerie

Karen I love the photos of your beach, ours is like that in winter and as you said in summer not an inch to be seen, you’re lucky if you can reach the water as the spanish like to sit as near as possible to the sea. What I would give to walking down our beach today! Oh well !
Love the tag and a great use of stamps. I like the Bad Ass coffee board, a good way to honour those poor animals carrying all those sacks of coffee.

This is a wonderful tag-but-now-a-bookmark Karen! A great idea for using the stamps and beautifully thought out and made too. How lucky you are to live by the water. Such lovely photos. If you have to be a homebody then this is a beautiful place to do it in! Vicky x

Oh what a gorgeous tag with the most beautiful women!I’m glad you didn’t colour or stick over them. They are lovely as they are.
You are lucky to be on the water and also that you can still go out. (House arrest for us)
What a fun explanation about the name of the coffee company. I can sympathise with that as we have a ‘bad ass’ here outside the village and he has the most awfully ugly and loud call. I always have to warn visitors when they come, as you wouldn’t know what the noise is!
Happy T-Day my friend,
and stay safe,
Hugs,
Lisca

I apologize for being so late, Karen. I’m also sorry I’m such a bad T Tuesday host this week. I hope you’ll forgive me. One reason I’m so late is because I tried to catch up with each person’s blog posts instead of just reading one post and moving on to someone else. I’m STILL getting kicked off the internet. I’m SO tired of ATT.
I think your tag is incredible. I love all the old postage stamps, many from other countries. You did an incredible job.
I loved reading about the Bad Ass Coffee Company. I can just hear those poor donkeys braying away as they are forced to carry those heavy loads of coffee beans. This was a wonderful place for you to visit. You got some great shots, too.
Lucky YOU to live on the water. I want to come visit (grin), but only once this COVID scare is over. Thanks for taking us to the Bad Ass Coffee Co. for T this past Tuesday. And please believe me when I say how very sorry I am to be so late visiting.

I definitely left a comment on this fabulous tag – I adore the postage stamps with those glamorous women. I don’t think it needs anything at all over the top – completely the right decision. Great to see your fab photos of the seashore too.
Thanks for your lovely comment – I’ll try to remember to take some shots of the craft desk some time too!
