T stands for Time to Paddle Board, Scrapbook and Have Tea

On Tuesday at the Altered Book Lover, we share a drink and post about what we’ve been up to all week. I’ve been a busy girl! Here is a mug that I found at the thrift shop about a year ago for $2, it’s nice to wrap your hand inside and it’s handmade by “Neher”. upon research I found it’s made by a couple in Oregon. A very nice find indeed.

Here is one of four projects I’m currently working on. This is going to be for all the cousins. I’m going to make one and then color copy or have 8 books printed, one for each of mine and my sisters children. ~ Fun times ~

As I mentioned before, I’m making an ABC book of Sarah for her to share with her children someday. Here is “B” I love the top right picture, I caught her admiring her face painting in the mirror at a fair. C will be for Cake.

Sarah in my craft room. She self taught herself how to sew and made a face mask.
Sarah again painting outside on our dock

Here is my beautiful yard, Husband Ed gets all the credit for the yard work.
Here is my paddle board, I went out this morning for the first time this season.
Can you zoom in and see the goose on her nest in the middle of this picture?

Creativeseconds was started as a way of selling secondhand craft supplies and cards on Ebay and Etsy. You will find creative cards, tags, and paper crafting projects here as well as craft room organizational ideas. Follow along with me and comments are welcomed and appreciated.

  1. Such a cozy mug! Great find. Masks are a skill worth learning. She’s done a nice job 🙂

Your place on the lake offers a little of everything, it seems. Lakefront, and lovely yard, and beautiful azaleas. I’ll bet it makes staying home easier 🙂

    Happy T Tuesday!

  2. I couldn’t get several of your photos to load, Karen. Sarah sewing a mask and your yard were two that, no matter HOW LONG I waited, never loaded. I even refreshed several times, but that didn’t help either. Thankfully, I could see your adorable butterfly page and your amazing mug find. I was surprised at the original cost when it was first purchased. You were lucky to get it for that price, and at 1/10th the cost of the original. Looks like you enjoyed your ginger tea, too.

Thanks so very much for sharing these projects and photos with us, as well as your new tea mug for T this Tuesday, dear Karen.

  3. I love a mug you can wrap your hands around and the colors on that one are gorgeous. Your scrapbook projects are wonderful. What an adorable picture of her admiring herself as a butterfly, or was that a crafting bug that bit her? Beautiful scenery. Mojo is sweet. Take care and Happy T Day

  5. Hi Karen 🙂 Oh good boy Mojo! So many people are ignoring that rule here where I live and no surprise, Quebec is the most infected in Canada, sigh. Sarah looks so cute with her mask! Oh gosh, I’m a kayaker…I’m so envious that you’re out on the lake!!! And no, I can’t see the goose nest very well! But I do remember that they are VERY territorial. They don’t like anyone walking anywhere near their nests! Husband Ed did a great job, the yard is beautiful!! I love the projects you’re working on!!

  7. Super find on that mug. I had seen similar in a local shop(no longer open) and I wonder if they came from the same artists…I never did buy one. Beautiful memory pages and what a really thoughtful gift for family members to treasure!
It’s a dream of mine to live by the water- how lovely your place looks, and oh to have that view:) Happy T day!

  8. Hi, beautiful mug! I love handmade pottery and have collected quite a few pieces now since the ’70s I just love using them too. Lovely book you are making, and I enjoyed seeing your lake views-fun. I am teaching myself how to paint-my inspiration to try is the lake views and the gorgeous sunrises here.
The photos would not enlarge for me-sigh Happy T wishes Hugs Kathy

  12. Oh what a beautiful mug! That is a real find! I love the colours and the glaze and the fact that it is hand made. wrapping your hand around it is a good idea, especially with hot drinks but this particular one would be uncomfortable for me as I am right handed and you have a left handed one.
Your garden looks lovely. Credit to your Ed! Your house is on the lake! How special is that! No, I can’t see the geese, but I believe you. better leave her alone.
Well done Sarah for sewing a mask.
I’m sorry I’m late but we have had some really atrocious weather, and we lose our internet with bad weather (It’s radio waves))
Have a lovely weekend and if you celebrate it:
    Happy Easter!
    Hugs,
    Lisca
