I clicked on your name and it took me to December of last year. Not sure how that happened, but I enjoyed seeing all those cards you made for others in need of some type of support and encouragement.
Your cross is incredible. Genuinely lovely. It’s beautiful with the gold lettering, too.
I wanted to explain that I was not putting myself down in today’s post on my blog. However, you have to realize, I am a statistician, a scientist, and also have an undergrad degree in mechanical engineering. My masters is in Industrial/organizational Engineering and my Ph.D. is in Human Factors. I come from a science background and only found art a few years ago. When I started, I was horrible. I knew nothing. My friend Scott told me about dividing a page into thirds. HE told me I was terrible and I was. In fact, he said my collages looked like a third grader made them. I knew nothing about composition, so I started reading everything I could get my hands on. Alison Bomber has a degree in art. She is a real artist. She works with other big name artists. I am truly a wanna be up against her. I’m not putting myself down, because I have skills I’m confident Alison doesn’t have. But she has art skills I can only hope to achieve (or aspire for) someday.

Your faith is a gift in these times … your post reminds us that we can turn to God for comfort. Thank you for your beautiful, uplifting painting …. and I agree, Love is the answer.
