Celebrate Spring, and the Beauty of Nature

At the Joy of Sets the tic tac toe challenge for April is:

I picked Flowers, Ribbon & Texture.

I found a sketch and a color theme at the Card Chain Challenge. I’m new to their blog, they have you make a card and then send it to another challenge participant. Sounds like a fun idea.

So I used three different embossing folders along with felt flowers, buttons, and ribbons to create this card. A cheerful card to honor Spring’s arrival.

I also made a Journal page for Try it on Tuesday (better late then never!)

If you need some spiritual uplifting, this 1 hour program that was live last night for Good Friday was amazing! ~ Happy Easter! ~

Hello! I'm a 50 something wife and mother of two girls ~ I started Blogging in March of 2011 on Blogger and just converted to WordPress in Dec 2019. I started paper crafting in 1995 when I first tried embossing with powder, I was so excited and couldn't believe it was so easy to make something so beautiful. Creativeseconds was started as a way of selling secondhand craft supplies and cards on Ebay and Etsy. You will find creative cards, tags, and paper crafting projects here as well as craft room organizational ideas. Follow along with me and comments are welcomed and appreciated.

  7. Love the use of the multiple embossing folders on your pretty card! The deep color of the flowers contrasts in such a pretty way with the pastel pink.
