My Tub Runneth Over, and Birthday Sketchy

At Rain’s Garden the theme today is “Bubbles”, so I created a page entitled “My tub runneth over” . These stamped images were from The Angel Company and I thought of her right away when I read the theme. I love to take a bath with bubbles!. I’m still new to journaling and I’m learning that you need to let things dry before you keep messing with it. Also not to use the first thing you grab to dab at your project.. I got messy paper towel lint in several spots etc. Oh well I still like the finished product! I used luminarte and a little stickles to color in the images.

I also made a Birthday card for Daisy Chain Challenges using a Feeling Sketchy sketch #239. The die cut is Elegant flourishes by Tim Holtz.

Stay busy & keep crafting, reading, walking, and baking!

I started paper crafting in 1995 when I first tried embossing with powder, I was so excited and couldn't believe it was so easy to make something so beautiful. Creativeseconds was started as a way of selling secondhand craft supplies and cards on Ebay and Etsy. You will find creative cards, tags, and paper crafting projects here as well as craft room organizational ideas. Follow along with me and comments are welcomed and appreciated.

  1. Your art work is delightful and your thoughtfulness tells me that you are indeed a comforter. Now is a good time to comfort others as many are suffering in so many ways. I enjoyed my visit with you … I look forward to coming back.

  2. Hi Karen!! Oh I really love your “Tub Runneth Over”!!! That looks so cool!! I need to start an art journal, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for so long…after the move I’m going to sit down, open up my empty journal and see where it takes me!! Thanks for joining in! 🙂
