I for Ice cream, J for Jelly Bean, Tag, and an Inchie

I made another Christmas gift tag for Tag Tuesday where the theme is gold and silver. I die cut the tag out of gold paper and stamped and embossed the background in gold. I added a round sticker and embossed the “To & From” in gold as well. I added two silver metal snowflakes and some ribbon to complete.

I worked on Sarah’s ABC album and for anyone who didn’t know, she’s 17 now. This album is for me to share with my future grandchildren (God willing). I thought it would be a special way to tell them about their Mother someday. The Ice Cream picture is from her sweet 16 dinner at her favorite Mexican restaurant. I looked and looked for a younger picture with ice cream and couldn’t find one. I decided it was probably because I was to busy eating my own cone to get a picture!.

J is for Jelly bean, she loved to count, sort, and eat them by color and flavor.

At Every Inchie Monday the theme is Easter

Next up, K for “Kids” a picture with her friends.

Blessings on the week ahead!

  1. Hi Karen. Love that gorgeous tag, thanks so much for joining us at Tag Tuesday, much appreciated. Why didn’t I think of making Christmas tags? Ah, perhaps ‘Corrina’ is to blame! Love the album you are making, and I can relate to not taking a picture because of being busy with your own cone! Have a great week, stay safe, hugs, Valerie

  2. You really are the Mistress of Tags Karen! This is another gorgeous one with its gold accents and the stunning embossed background. Thanks for the ABC album explanation. I had thought it was going to be a gift for your daughter but I love that you’re keeping it to share with any grandchildren you may be lucky enough to have. That is such a lovely idea – and meanwhile you can enjoy it yourself! Lol at you being to busy with your own cone to take photos of your daughter eating ice cream!! I love your Easter inchie too and am constantly amazed at all the interesting embellishments you have in your stash! Blessings to you and yours, Vicky x
