T Day, O,P, and Q,TIOT, Inchie

Happy Tuesday everyone! At the Altered Book Lover we share a drink along with our latest weekly updates. Today I’m having a cup of throat coat. I enjoy the flavor and I find it helps with allergies. I also have a cup of Milton’s crackers that my husband found that are Gluten Free, salty, and crunchy ~ yum!

More on Sarah’s ABC Scrapbook ~ Here we have “O” for Ocean, “P”(which I shared last week for Paint, and now “Q” for Quiet.

For TIOT, which is Try it on Tuesday, the theme is “black, white, and one colour”. I added a sketch challenge by Tuesday Morning Sketches, and “add a ribbon” theme by Paper Minutes to create this pocket card.

On my walk yesterday, I heard a noise and looked over to see a duck couple right next to me. I was glad I had my phone in my hand to take a quick picture.
Every Inchie Monday: the theme is “Meadow “

Enjoy your Week Everyone! ~ Keep Crafting ~

Hello! I'm a 50 something wife and mother of two girls ~ I started Blogging in March of 2011 on Blogger and just converted to WordPress in Dec 2019. I started paper crafting in 1995 when I first tried embossing with powder, I was so excited and couldn't believe it was so easy to make something so beautiful. Creativeseconds was started as a way of selling secondhand craft supplies and cards on Ebay and Etsy. You will find creative cards, tags, and paper crafting projects here as well as craft room organizational ideas. Follow along with me and comments are welcomed and appreciated.

  1. Fabulous post! I’m loving the sound of your tea if it helps with allergies, I must check it out πŸ˜€. Your pages are beautiful, I always enjoy seeing the photos that you include – such happy memories! The pocket card is gorgeous and the colour combination works so beautifully and the design is so elegant 😊. Thanks so much for joining in the fun at Try it on Tuesday! Great to see the ducks and your meadow inchie is perfect too. Happy T Day wishes and keep well! Hugs, Jo x

  2. Hi Karen, happy T Day. I’ve never heard of that tea, but I must confess I’m a coffee person. The crackers sound good. Love the scrapbook page, your little girl is so cute. Love the pocket card in those jazzy colours and patterns. Thanks for joining us at TIOT, much appreciated. Stay safe, look after yourself. Hugs, Valerie,

  3. I’m just loving your alphabet book. Q is so Qute, such an angel baby.Wonderful inchie, I bet the duck couple would love nibbling those flowers. I like the Throat Coat tea, too. It didn’t occur to me that it would help with allergies. I wish Himself like tea as he’s been having an awful time this month. Occasionally, I like the Smooth Move tea, too. Take care. Happy T Day

  4. I had a terrible time getting here. I had to create a Word Press account to visit. I have NO IDEA why that happened, but I’m not happy about having to join Word Press, even though I gave my google account, which it wouldn’t accept.

Your scrapbook is coming along nicely, Karen. I’m really enjoying it. That was one darling photo of Sarah sleeping (quiet). And that inchie is wowser. I can’t work that small, I don’t think.

Your tea looks good. I wonder if they sell it in the midwest. So many items you get in the east, we don’t get here. Thanks for sharing your art, your scrapbook, and your lovely tea and mugs with us for T this Tuesday.

      1. I hope you don’t mind, Karern. I corrected the link as a second entry of your name. Now people should have no trouble getting here. The link you used was from a preview of your post. That’s why Elizabeth waas required to join Word Press.

  7. I have seasonal allergies, and my cough is annoying at the best of times, but _now_… well… I think I’ll look for throat coat the next time I’m at the store. Thanks for the idea πŸ™‚ I love how you framed “Ocean” with that overlaying octopus. The pocket card is eye-catching; I’ve always loved black, white, and red together and like how the red peeks out the top there. The duck pair makes me smile. We have mallards here, and I miss seeing them at the park πŸ™‚ Inchies look challenging to me. Your meadow is wonderful! Happy T Day πŸ™‚

(P.S. I had the same trouble with your link others have had, but I found you following your link in the comment you left on my post.)

  8. I enjoyed looking at your art and how you met challenges with it. I’m another one who is going to try to find you tea. Allergies this year seem worse than usual. Inchies amaze me. I don’t think I can work that small.

  10. We love throat coat when we are sick, especially with a little bit of honey. Your scrapbook pages are so cute. This is such a great idea to make each page a letter of the alphabet. I bet your daughters will treasure these. And I really like that black and white envelope!
    Happy Tea Day,
