Signs of Spring, R and S

Thursday’s Art Date, and the theme is “Signs of Spring” The main image is part of a postcard which is a painting by William Hough. I added several other embellishments to create this journal page.

I also completed “R” for Rainbow and “S” for Sarah, to whom this book is all about. That’s Sarah’s older sister Katie with her in this picture.

It’s the last day in April, and I’m feeling displaced. Normally we have just finished Spring break and we are counting down the weeks till summer and getting excited … ~ and now ~ I’m just living one day at a time, completing one project at a time, and continuing to count my blessings.

Creativeseconds was started as a way of selling secondhand craft supplies and cards on Ebay and Etsy. 1. Your art is beautiful and you have gorgeous kids. Having family is a real blessing. Things are hard just now, but let’s stay hopeful that things will soon get better. Counting our blessings is a good thing to do day by day. Stay safe, hugs, Valerie

  3. Still must visit using the WordPress account I was forced to create in order to visit you, Karen. I really love the scrapbook pages you created for Sarah. Both of your daughters are beautiful.

That’s a lovely card you created for Rain’s Spring challenge. I was in awe especially because I had never heard of that artist before. However, I’m glad you introduced me, because I learned something new today.
