T stands for Wedding Shower card and Inchies

Happy Tuesday at the Altered Book Lover where we share what we’re working on and a beverage. Since it’s after 5 and I’m late to the posting party, I’m sharing my glass of Chardonnay on my craft table. Don’t you love the natural light shining in on my creative space?! Very thankful.

I needed to make a card for my daughters best friend’s wedding shower coming up this month. She has a pinterest board of wedding ideas with a lot of white roses and greenery so I chose that for my color scheme. At the cupcake inspiration they show roses and pearls as there challenge, so I can join in there. I also found the design from Atlantic Heart Sketch, and got to creating. The background embossing folder is from Stampin Up, and I used two shades of greenery to create the wreath. I added a sentiment and lot’s of pearls both from Stampin’ Up to complete my greeting.

I have two inchies as well to share:

Every Inchie Monday: Watering Can: Stamp by TAC with hand drawn water drops
Every Inchie Monday: Theme = Orange, used a jolee embellishment with stamp die cut.

Thanks for Visiting and Enjoy your week!

  1. How nice to have natural light in the early evening on your craftspace. I need lights by that time, even during these long days. Nice card too. I need to make a wedding shower card so I enjoyed the inspiration. Hope you had a great T day. Hugs-Erika

  2. I finally got back online late last night, but gave out after about four hours. My eye just couldn’t take any more until it rested. Thanks for joining this week’s T party. Next week we will use Inlinkz because you can remove your link and start over again if you make a mistake Be sure to use ONLY your name in the “caption” and not your blog post, please.

Love your natural light and your craft room. You have a lovely area. That’s a fabulous wedding shower card. It’s gorgeous, and the inchies are so clever. I had NO idea they made die cuts that small. Thanks for sharing your wine and art with us for T this Tuesday, dear Karen.

  3. Yes, it is a blessing to have natural light on one’s desk. The card you made for the bride is lovely. She will treasure it.
    And those ‘inchies’ are fascinating.
Of course Chardonnay is an excellent idea. We have recently found chardonnay in ‘one-glass’ packageing. (Like little fruit juices). I have tried one and it is very nice. So now I can have my glass of white without having to open a whole bottle (Hubby doesn’t drink white). A win-win situation.
    Have a good week,

  7. It’s fun seeing our friend’s work spaces. You’re lucky to have natural light like that, Karen. I often end my crafting day with a glass of chardonnay delivered because it’s my husband’s way of telling me it’s time to shut down and be with him. I’m very thankful too.

I love your pearly wreath and card. So elegant.

    Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen

  9. Well, I could slide right on into your sunlit craft space and take a sip of chardonnay Karen! What a lovely place to create. The card you made your daughter’s friend is beautiful. I especially like that you used two greens for the wreath – it gives it such depth. Vicky x
