Here is the card I created and the magazine I’m going to send to my Swap-bot partner. I thought it would be fun to send a preowned magazine along with one completed project inspired by something inside the magazine to each other. I picked the “Create Vintage” issue by Scrapbook trends and found a card on page 51 that inspired me to create my own. The original card was made by Lucy Abrams of Lucy’s Cards. Using a vintage button card I found at a church bazaar I added two more vintage buttons to complete the set and used fabric corners so that the recipient can remove them if they wish to. I embossed the sentiment ” The best antiques are old friends” and added the seam binding and twine just like Lucy used on her card. On the 29th I will send this card and the magazine to whomever the computer picks as my partner. Thanks for visiting!

What a great idea to use the magazine as inspiration for a swap. The card is awesome and I really like the buttons. Happy T Day
