4 pocket Fold Up’s for Junk Journals

I’ve decided to link up with the creative people over at the Stamping Ground for What’s on your work desk Wednesday.

Here are a few decorated four pocket fold up’s that I made yesterday and completed today. Due to the pandemic and the need for more fun and surprises in my life, I stated to do swaps again over at Swap-bot. I found this swap with a “how to” video link and decided to give it a go. The idea is to make 2 completed embellished fold ups for one person to receive in their mail box. My assigned partner enjoys flowers and gardening, so I used that for my themes. I’m also sending two blanks that she can decorate on her own.

Tucked in the pockets are two tags, a journal spot, an ATC, and a playing card with samples of washi tape.
In my 2nd pocket, I distressed all the edges of a book page and added two journal spots, one decorated tag, and a handmade envelope with vintage canceled stamps.

These were so much fun to make! I’m attaching the 15 min. video tutorial link below if you’d like to give it a try. Thanks for visiting today.

  1. Hi Karen, you made it to WOYWW!! It’s lovely to see you, I hope you enjoy the experience, the deskers are lovely folk who enjoy seeing all sorts of crafts. Those fold-ups are fantastic, I love the papers and embellishments you’ve used, they’d make great Birthday cards for a friend.

  3. I am very late to visit for a Wednesday blog hop, please forgive. There is a reason, I just cant quite hook it out of my memory! It’s great to see you here, hope you enjoy being a Desker! Those fold ups are fab, what a nice idea and how kind of you to add extras to the swap! I don’t journal, but I do collect the maps, tickets and general holiday ephemera, something like this to tuck them into and keep them corralled whilst away would be a great idea…make them easily transferable too.
