Hello everyone!
Something crafty I’ve learned during our shut in time is to create junk journals. I have lot’s of bits and pieces already saved, so it was the perfect creative outlet for me.
I’ve completed a Garden Journal that I’ll have to post, and started one on Windmills, Beaches, and also one on Hope, Love & Encouragement.
I found a picture book on Cats while thrifting on Tuesday that inspired me to make a journal to sell (Here on Ebay). The completed book has 32 pages with lot’s of journal spaces, tags, and tuck spots to enjoy. I already had the charms in my stash along with lot’s of other cat themed stickers and sentiments. I’ve got my daughter interested in creating these now and she’s going to create one on animals and botanical’s. So here is my completed project:

Now to share some Friday Smiles with you and the group at a Stitch in Time:

Get Comfy & stay cool and enjoy the weekend!
Your junk journal is wonderful. They are always fun to make, and yours is a real beauty. And I LOVED the cat pics. The highlander cat is fantastic, never seen one of those before! And Mo looks like he’s reading the book. Have a great weekend, take care! Hugs, Valerie

It’s really cute, Karen and loads of fun. I can tell you put so much time into it, too. Of course, anytime I see a cat, I smile big! Very nice!

I’m always blown away by your scrapbook/journal projects Karen! This cat themed one is amazing and I can’t wait to see the others too. Love the photo of Mo feeling it is hardly possible that someone would have chosen to put Another Cat on the cover!! The Highland cat is a proper cutie and the last photo made me smile – someone forgot to tell that cat it’s not cool to be square (or was that just back in the 60s?!!) Vicky x
