Today is Wednesday, so I’m joining up with the group at Stamping Ground to show what is on our work desk today. I’ve been working on a swap where you send your partner 2 paper corner paper clips for their journals. The swap was inspired by a video by Gi Kerr that you can watch HERE . Some took longer to create then others. At first I was making the corner first and then embellishing. When I made the last one today it seemed to come together faster by picking the embellishments first and then choosing the background corner paper.
In any case I do like the finished product. You can see where I added one to my junk journal here:

Enjoy the rest of your week!
Karen, your corners are beautiful, and a wonderful idea. I have so many scraps which could be used for things like this, so I think I will have a go at something similar soon, it’s a fab idea. Thanks for the inspiration. Have a wonderful day, stay safe, hugs, Valerie.

Well, I’ve ever heard of paper corner clips but aren’t they fabulous? I love the different colours and embellishments you’ve used and they really do look great on the corner of the page. These swaps kick up some interesting ideas!

I’m like Jan, I have never heard of them either but they are all wonderful. I have seen book marks a bit like this, but these are so much more fun. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe, with love and God Bless, Caro xx (#11)

Your corners are beautiful, Karen! I haven’t heard of these before but I suppose they are like a tuck spot on a journal page, where you can tuck something behind. I love your box of buttons! I’ve also got a big box of buttons but most of them aren’t very interesting ones. Thank you for visiting, and I’m glad you enjoyed reading about my various activities!
Happy belated WOYWW,

Karen, I love them. I was just thinking about making some corner bookmarks for my shop. I really love the way you embellished yours. They are so intricate and the quotes are fantastic. I like the idea of the swap too. I used to host an ATC swap but it became a little to much work so we all called it quits. But the fun was receiving those miniature works of art. Be safe and have a wonderful weekend!

Hi – Twiglet here – just found how to contact you! Thanks for your comment on my WOYWW blog. I love your corner clips – what a fab idea. AND I am such a button fan and that box of metal buttons really drew me in! Send me your address and I will see how I can organise a little lavender parcel for you.

Hi Karen – I just parcelled some little lavender bags for you and then I did wonder if I am allowed to post lavender to USA? I know they have strict rules about plant material etc. What do you think? I would hate them not to get to you. Jo
