At Tag Tuesday the current theme is to make a tag using book print. I had so much fun with this, that I made two. The first was inspired by the Fall season, and will make a fun bookmark to give away.

The second tag, was inspired by Wilma at Empress Wu Designs. I love the look of all the words going every which way for the background. I actually used versamark and clear embossing powder to give it a glossy finish. I’m wondering if Lisca at the Scraping Cavewoman can tell us about this postage stamp? I loved how the two birds are looking like a mirror image (read quote). Such bright happy colors to stand out from the black and white. I’m also going to use this tag to join Friday Smiles at a stitch in time.

More renovation updates: We have knobs and handles! FYI: if the saleswomen in the showroom refers to them as cabinet jewelry you can bet they’re going to be expensive.

Just Smile and Enjoy the Weekend!
Your kitchen is going to be amazing when completed-reminds me of the Property Brothers on hgtv-they always seem to use white cabinets. You will have loads of space-very nice.
I love your tags and quotes-Happy Friday kathy

Your tags are amazing. I like both of them. I think Valerie is going to be happy, too. But the remodel is the star this week. Even with the glitches, it is turning into a glorious beauty. I know you will adore it when it is finally finished. SO glad you keep updating us, dear. Have a super weekend and great week. Hope to see you for T this next Tuesday, but if not, I’ll see you in two weeks at Friday Smiles for sure.

Hi Karen! Your tags and kitchen are gorgeous! I’ve enjoyed reading so I am now following via email. I’m also thinking about moving to WordPress but only thinking at this point. Thanks so much for your comment left on my blog, I appreciate it. You wanted to know my secret to keeping track of all the challenges? I maintain 7 pages of spread sheets, no joke, and all manual. I wish they were on my computer to save manual erasing, but I’ve gotten so tech-lazy I can longer figure out how to use Google’s program. I was going to scan a page in to send you but cannot find an email and it looks like your ebay shop is dormant? Well, anyhoo, it’s a pain to maintain but necessary for my poor brain. Ha! Poet and know it! Have a great week, XOX

Wow, that´s a great kitchen! And the tags are wonderful, too. 2002 I bought a donkey at Maccas – he still sings “you are my sunshine” 🌞

Fabulous tags! The you are my sunshine one caught my eye with the autumnal colours, I’m loving the text too and the big flower with the button centre 😁. I was wondering how did you get the wording on the ribbon? Your renovations look amazing, loving the cabinet jewelry …lol! Wishing you a wonderful new week! Hugs, Jo x

Oh my gosh, look at that kitchen! I am so impressed! Love the open shelves for display and cupboards that close! (That’s just my personal pref because my cupboards always get out of control. Great counter space!
I don’t know if you see your older-post comments but I did leave on one the Autumn card about the sandpiper! Thanks for coming by!

Lovely tags and what a true thing that Thackeray quote is!
You made me chuckle with ‘cabinet jewellery’ – that’s a new one on me! All projects have glitches as you say, but your space is beginning to look so exciting. Focus on the end result Karen! Vicky x
