Woyww, Autumn Birthday Card

Time to share what’s on my work desk again with you and the group over at the Stamping Ground. I needed to make a card for my nephew’s 20th birthday. I tend to use the number of years the recipient is with die cuts or stamps, so I wanted to do something different this time.

This card was inspired by a few current challenge blogs. Atlantic Hearts Sketch, The Paper Players, The Library Challenge, Just Us Girls, and A Place to Start (use red, yellow and green).

The background paper is from Stampin Up and the squirrel is actually a sticker that I adhered to a die cut circle. I die cut leaves and the birthday sentiment and added a few sequins for some bling to complete my greeting.

And just for fun, I wanted to share my cat izzy’s paws! someone blogged a picture of cat paws recently, and I mentioned how cute I thought my cat’s are too. I love how her back right paw is half pink and half black. Cute right?!

Enjoy your week!

  3. That squirrel is a handsome chap – I wish the squirrels in my garden wee red ones (though the grey are entertaining to watch if not as pretty!0. Very cute kitty paws, that really is half and half! Sadly I had to have my old girl put down last week so I have to get my kitty fix vicariously, thank you Izzy!! 8. A lovely card, Karen – I love the colours of autumn and it makes a great theme. Little Izzie is adorable! Her pretty little paws… My first kitty Sophie was a tortie but all her pads were pink. Our 2 silver tabby cross girls have variegated pink and black pads which are very sweet. Sorry for the late visit this week but I’ve been very busy completing my needle books in time for the deadline.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  10. Fabulous birthday card and I’m very fond of kitty paws! Squirrels too – there’s one in our garden that I call my squirrel cause he let me go very close once when he was still little and whenever I see him I think I recognise him! He’s smarter than the average squirrel! Have a lovely weekend and thanks so much for visiting earlier. Sorry I couldn’t get back to you sooner! xx zsuzsa #20
