Maybe I’ll start a new trend over at the Stamping Ground, instead of what’s on your work desk? it’ll be what’s on your work floor?? Sometimes when you need to organize something you need LOT’S of room, and that was the case here. I decided to work on my very messy tub of flowers and take my misc. bags of random colored blooms and store them in some empty Stampin’ Up containers.

I should have taken better before pictures, but I didn’t realize this was going to be my post this Wednesday. At any rate, I did leave some of the prima flowers in their flower color families in baggies, and the prima’s that were already all mixed in with other flowers are now sorted by color with other blooms.

The large bag of paper flowers that I think are from K&Co. might be getting donated if I don’t use some in the next year. They’ve been hanging around taking up landscape for far too long. I hope this post inspires you to organize if it’s needed in your work space.

Now for a Kitchen and office renovation update:

Most appliances are in along with the counter tops. The island is granite in fantasy brown, and the counters are quartz in Caesar stone turbine grey. The light fixtures and the Koehler faucet and farm house sink, are from Ferguson. Next up: range hood, painting, and flooring.
The office counters are in Fantasy brown like the kitchen island:

Then… we get to work on the den which project manager Mojo is here now to inspect, and provide a report at a later date.

Enjoy the rest of your week!
When I saw those on the floor I thought you’d dropped them all but it doesn’t sound like that and now they are all sorted in their new home. Looks like everything is moving along nicely. Bet you’ll be pleased when it’s finished and you can use it. Wishing you a lovely week and a very happy woyww, Angela x20x

How organised are you with those flowers? What a great idea to use those SU packets for the various ones. Mine are sort of sorted but nowhere near as good as yours,
Love the new renovations – the counter top in the second photo is lush! What a wonderful hoe you are going to have when it is all done – adore it!

I love all the flowers! So pretty, and so great to see them organised. It reminds me of when I did my “flower factory” when I was making an album about my mum. I made so many flowers! Your renovation is coming along splendidly and it all looks so sleek and elegant. So nice to see the progress photos, and I am sure you are pleased that the end is now in sight and there doesn’t look to be too much more to do. It’s all beautiful. It’s good to see who’s really in charge of it all and inspecting everything so thoroughly too! A great project manager.
Thank you for your visit – so glad you like the latest tiny carpet. Also the kitties! We do have some little mice and voles in the garden, and a while back, they were showing great interest in a little frog in the patio, so it could have been anything! Haha about the tea! Here in the UK we often call an early evening meal “tea” even if no actual tea is consumed. It’s become a bit of a joke with the kitties. For some reason it was always “supper” with previous ones we had, but these ones always have “tea.”
Love the name “wholepaycheck” for the wholefoods store! I can really understand that. I buy all mine online and even so it’s easy to get carried away if you’re not careful! Before I was married, back in the 1980s, I had a local wholefoods place and I loved going there. I think it’s closed now.
Thanks for your good wishes for my upcoming appointments. Had a phone appointment with the physio today about my bladder and that went very well.
Happy belated WOYWW,

*LOL* Glad I’m not the only one working on the floor sometimes. Much more space than on any table I own.

What a wonderful lot of flowers you have – colours for every occasion, and that’s a great way to use the empty SU cases – very clever. Your kitchen is looking gorgeous, I bet you can’t wait until it’s completely finished.
Have a great week, apologies for running late,

Looking fabulous! I use zip lock bags in little drawers for organizing my flowers. If I had it to do all over again I might have just bought beige, black and white in every size and shape and coloured them on the fly. I never seem to have EXACTLY the colour I want, even though I have a TON of them. But then who am I kidding? I’d probably been more like :Do I really NEED a flower here? Probably not…” Soooo lazy, me.
Bet you cannot WAIT for the renovation to be done….
Happy WOYWW, a few days late!

Thouhgt you’d had a bit of an accident there at first!! I think we all resort to floor filing at some point – Helen of course is the master at actually crafting on the floor! I’d end up down there permanently if I tried that. I already have all my flowers colour co-ordinated in boxes – still never seem to have the one I need though! Frankly beginning to think I could spend my life sorting and tidying, sometimes it actually makes me happier than crafting (which makes a mess!). Am extremely envious of your gorgeous kitchen – such a lovely space! Sorry I am so late, but getting around. Stay well, stay safe, Cindy #25

Hi Karen! Lots of “WOW’s” here! Great organizing, I’m assuming Mojo didn’t help…and your kitchen!!! Amazing, just like I picture my fantasy kitchen to be, and again wow for that office space!! Can I come live with you? LOL! Sorry I’m so late this week! Thanks for your visit! Lindart #34

ooh kitchen is looking marvellous. Yes crafting on the floor, I remember a previous WOYWW crop when Helen (H) turned up (well known for also floor crafting) Julia had already used tape to mark out a space on the floor for Helen to work rather than at the desks with us!!! Hilarious, we all took photos, in fact I think it may still be the photo on Helen’s blog!! Either way, that is some serious sorting out you have done, fair play.
thanks for visiting my desk already

Hi Karen, so sorry I’m this late – the new WOYWW is almost upon us and here I am commenting on last week’s posts! Love your collection of paper flowers – they always come in handy – Il like to use them occasionally too when I can match my colour scheme. Your new kitchen looks amazing – I bet you can’t wait to start using it. Mojo is such a fun name for a cat – hope to see more of him (her?) on your blog. Thanks so much for your visit – might see you again later this week! zsuzsa #13 (from last week)

Good morning, Karen. Give me a moment while I pick my jaw up off the floor. That kitchen is going to be gorgeous! Already drool-worthy. (but I mopped up when I could get my senses.) My husband couldn’t understand why I wanted white cabinets in the kitchen. THIS is exactly why. So bright and inviting. As to the flowers, great job! I, too, thought you’d dropped them. (hey, it happens to the best of us! LOL) I do miss our old clam shell SU boxes. I look forward to visiting again tomorrow. Creative Blessings! Kelly #31
