T stands for CHristmas Time and Tea

I can’t believe how much time has passed since my last post! I’ll have to post house renovation updates at a later date as I want to share my Christmas card and tea with the T gang over at the Altered Book Lover. I created this card using Nature’s Garden Nativity dies. I made the center circle so that it’s removable and could be used as a gift tag or an ornament by the receiver. I made 45 cards I believe, and mailed about 35 so that was some of what kept me off the computer for awhile.

I also wanted to share with you my new tea store discovery. Our local tea shop had changed hands, and I hadn’t been in for awhile. My sister was raving about a Christmas tea sampler that she purchased from there, so I had to go and see what I could find. Here is a picture of the sampler that we purchased, each packet has enough for 2 large cups of tea. I’m enjoying a cup of the peppermint bark as I type. I’ll add a link to her online store HERE. I understand they will have a winter sampler pack coming out in January too. Yum!

My other drink reference for the T gang would be my glass of Chardonnay that I enjoyed with a caprice salad at the Whiskey Kitchen the other night with my family. I had a tuna burger and a side of sweet potato fries that were piled high and very tasty.

Here are some photos of my house decorations too:

A collection of angels I call my “Heavenly Host” with a few animals surrounding the baby Jesus.
One very large and happy Christmas Cactus. I had him outside all summer in part sun and he apparently enjoyed it!
Lastly, our Christmas tree loaded with special ornaments. It’s an artificial tree, but I still think it’s beautiful.

Blessings and thanks for stopping by! ~ Enjoy the season ~

  3. Your tree, your decorations, and your Christmas cactus all look lovely. How lucky that you live in a place where it’s safe to eat in a restaurant. We’re eagerly waiting for the vaccine to enable us to go out safely!

  4. What beautiful cards. I love that set of die cuts.
Your tree is really beautiful. I smiled at your MOJO hanging there. If ever you complain that you’ve lost your mojo, I shall remind you to look through your Christmas decorations, lol!
The angel is huge. She only just fits. (I don’t know why we have female angels in the tree. In the Bible all angels are men)
Your Christmas cactus looks gorgeous. Mine is doing nicely too but it is not as big as yours.
    Happy T-Day,
    Hugs,
    Lisca

  5. Beautiful cards, Karen. I love that you made the center removable to hang on the tree.

Your tuna burger looks more like carpaccio. I don’t see a bun. It looks great to me that way.

Love your angel collection and how you turned it into a host of angels adoring the baby Jesus.

Gorgeous tree and angel topper. You’re a perfectionist, right? My older sister decorated our tree like that. Everything was perfectly hung. Tinsel – one … piece … at … a … time. We had fights over tinsel because I preferred to toss a handful and let it hang where it fell. lol.

Happy T-day! Stay safe and well. Hugs, Eileen

  6. Such a beautiful card! I love how the dies layer together to create the pretty nativity scene – perfect 😁. So glad the renovations are going well, I can’t wait for your update. Sending you blessing this festive season and wishing you a very Happy T Day too! Hugs, Jo x

  7. First, I want to thank you for the beautiful card you sent me. I got my mail about 20 minutes ago and was on my way to let you know I’d received it when I saw your name on the linky list. Since I didn’t recognize the last name, I broke protocol and opened it. I was shocked when I saw you had sent it. Thank you. It is beautiful and SO well executed, too, much like the card you shared today. I’ll share it next Tuesday during T.

Your home is decorated beautifully. I especially love the Christmas cactus and your large tree. Of course, all those angels are impressive, too.

Your tea sampler looks good. I wonder what chestnut tastes like. I can’t imagine it as a tea. Thanks for sharing your lovely card, your beautiful home, your tea sampler, and your Chardonnay with us for T this Tuesday, dear Karen. And thanks again for the beautiful handmade card.

  10. Oh, Karen, it’s so beautiful. I love your tree and it’s so personal. Those are the best kinds — the ones where almost everything has a story. And your Heavenly Host is just gorgeous. You are ahead of me on Christmas cards. I love this. I don’t know how you found the time to do all this, especially with the reno. I hope to finish mine today and start baking. Merriest to you!
