WOYWW, more like what’s all over my dining room

This post is for people that LOVE to look at other peoples craft supplies! We do this sort of thing every Wednesday at the Stamping Ground, so I thought I would share some of my Christmas supplies. If you enjoy the idea of items being contained in one place then these pictures are for you. If you think I’m part hoarder/OCD, you might be partially correct but I do use and enjoy my stash of crafty goodness, and share well with others.

All the little die cuts, stickers, random embellishments, sorted and labeled in clear Stampin’ Up! Clam shell containers.
The containers that were stacked inside the tub so you can see what they are!
Look at all those snowflakes! enough to create a blizzard with in my craft room. Can you tell I love bells?! if the price is right at the thrift store or yard sale, I have to buy them ~ Can you ever have too many?! The other items are blank tags ready to decorate and vintage “to and from” tags that I’ve collected too.

For years I hosted a “Wrap it Up” Christmas wrapping outreach party at out church, but the pandemic put the kibosh on that this year. I would get together with a few friends and make handmade gift tags for the event too, which also couldn’t happen this year. I had lot’s of time this December to reorganize my supplies and label the containers since two major functions were canceled that I normally organize. I enjoyed looking, sorting, and yes donating lot’s of the little bits and pieces that a lot of us purchase and collect to create with. Now that it’s all finished and all the gifts are wrapped, away into storage it goes until Dec. 2021.

Store bought, repurposed card fronts and handmade gift tags. Did you spot more bells in the glass container too?!
Three under the bed storage containers of Christmas ribbon.

Blessings, good health and creative wishes to all! Enjoy the Season & your loved ones ~ Happy New Year! ~

Hello! I'm a 50 something wife and mother of two girls ~ I started Blogging in March of 2011 on Blogger and just converted to WordPress in Dec 2019. I started paper crafting in 1995 when I first tried embossing with powder, I was so excited and couldn't believe it was so easy to make something so beautiful. Creativeseconds was started as a way of selling secondhand craft supplies and cards on Ebay and Etsy. You will find creative cards, tags, and paper crafting projects here as well as craft room organizational ideas. Follow along with me and comments are welcomed and appreciated.

  1. Hi Karen. Wow! What an amazing job you have done with all that sorting. I’m sorry your gift wrapping parties have all had to be cancelled – I guess most of us are in the same boat – things we have regularly done and organized have gone by the wayside this year. You are right – I did have an inkling that you liked bells…. I like all the recycling you have done to make gift tags out of previous Christmas cards.
    Have a really special Christmas.
    Take care. God bless.

  5. Hi I’m here at last. It’s been a busy day as the washing machine is feeling poorly and the second guy has been out to try and fix it and we think he has now found the problem but can’t complete the job until the new year. Following his visit we went to pick up the Christmas order from the supermarket. I noticed you mentioned OCD which my hubby says we all have only he refers to it as Obsessive Crafting Disorder and do you know what he’s probably right! Well impressed with your organised boxes too. Take care my friend and wishing you a happy Christmas. Hugs, Angela x10x

  9. Now I wish I had saved those SU boxes! How organised are you? You put me to shame with your organising skills – where do you live? Could you pop over to mine and sort me out please, pretty please.
Seriously, I am impressed and can learn a lot from you. Maybe less time surfing the internet and more on organising would be of help. It’s a case of the mind is willing but the body is weak.
Love your display of baubles and tags etc. Very Christmassy!
Here’s to a Wonderful and Very Happy Christmas to you and yours – and above all, Stay Safe and Well

  12. I love to make my own gift tags too but I’m not as organized as you. I could kick myself because years ago, I took out all my SU! Stamp sets and put them in drawers but you know what I did with those fabulous containers – tossed them. UGH! I would love to have them back and organize my embellishments, etc. I do have some but not nearly enough. You may be a hoarder but at least you’re organized. LOL. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! 13. Oh my word, Karen, is that organised or what? I am really impressed! Not only is everything so neatly stored and labelled, but it all looks like a work of art in its own right! Amazing. The get-together to wrap presents sounds a fabulous idea and would make what I always consider a major chore into a fun event. Such a shame events have prevented it this year. Hope you had a lovely Christmas.

Thank you for your visit, and I’m glad you enjoyed my various bits and pieces this week!

Happy New Year and happy belated WOYWW,

Happy VERY late WOYWW – Christmas got in the way!
