Happy 13th, Boy, Tag,bookmark, card

At Tag Tuesday the theme is numbers. I combined that idea with the design at Freshly Made Sketches, and the color challenge at Color Throwdown to create tag/bookmark birthday card for a 13yr old boy. I wanted the tag to be removable so I created a pocket out of acetate and attached with washi tape to slip it inside and still have it visible from the front.

Blurry but I had a hard time with glare in the picture due to the acetate

I also recycled some more pictures from my old calendar and made two Christmas tags, two love tags, and a Spring card.

The sun is shining, but it’s chilly out. I need to bundle up and get outside for a walk…then I can curl up with something hot to drink and read.

Enjoy the weekend!

  4. What a clever idea to add the tag to a card using an acetate pocket Karen! I love the patterns you’ve combined on your circles. One of the things I admire about you is your ideas for recycling – your calendar is creating so many more beautiful things! Vicky x

  5. You have been so productive! That’s very clever, both including the bookmark and then how you did it, making such a cute card combo. And your holiday tags are such fun — you’ll be all ready for NEXT Christmas!

  7. The 13th tag is wonderful. It would be a bookmark for me, with special significance. I met Miriam on Friday 13th, got married on Friday 13th, signed the deal on our house on Friday 13th and there are other significant thirteens too! Not for me any superstition about thirteen!
