WOYWW, Fairy Tags, Owl Inchie

I’m joining in today with the Stamping Ground group to share what’s on my work desk today.

Colored Pencils, Scissors, Ink, Stamps, 1 inch punch, LOTS of glue choices, Stickles, etc.

As you can see, I worked on making fairy tags for the bi-weekly challenge at Tag Tuesday. Both stamps called out to be played with so I made two sweet fairies and colored them in with colored pencils, stickles and a few other embellishments.

I’ve also created an inchie for Every Inchie Monday where the current challenge is for an owl image. I follow a blogger named David who authors Travels with Birds, and he recently posted some beautiful pictures of a snowy owl that influenced my inchie image. I decided on a shimmer gray background for my white embossed stamped image to create what I hope looks like an artistic representation of a snowy owl.

“Leave room in your garden for fairies to dance” I think I’ll keep this one for me!

~ Stay positive, search for the good in everything, daily, hourly if necessary ~ I’ll be doing the same!

  1. Those tags are too cute and the inchies as well. I made twinchies not too long ago and they were a lot of fun to do. Now I keep seeing ATC coins and thinking I should have a go at them too. I’m taking note of the challenge site – like I don’t have enough queued up! That’s WOYWW for ya 🙂

Happy WOYWW, with a late start

  2. Lovely fairy tags – they remind me of the fairies that are for the seasons – and I think they do them for months too. Not surprised you want to keep them for yourself.

  6. Cute little fairy tags, Karen, and the inchie too! I like working fine and small but I’ve never worked that small, I don’t think. Quite a challenge. Thank you for your visit – I am highly delighted with my new Vitamix which is really doing its stuff and giving me great results. I’m glad you enjoyed the kitty antics (not! – sleeping is the order of the day lol!) and my rainbow jumper.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  7. I like your fairy-tags very much. I don’t have a garden but there’s room on the balcony and in the big Oak tree nearby, do you think fairies like that? I hope so! Sorry for being late with my visit this week (the deskers-list is long and I visit a few per day) Have a great weekend, stay healthy and safe! Love from the Netherlands, Marit #31

  9. HI Karen, sorry I’m so late. Your owl inchie is wonderful, very artsy, the embossed stamped image works really well. I’ve never tried inchies but I’m inspired to check them out now, love the idea of such teeny works of art. have a great weekend. Annie C #34

  10. These are all beautiful Karen, especially the fairy tags! I especially like the one with the toadstools. The circle suits the shape of the stamp and I love the ribbons you threaded through. Vicky x

  11. Clever take on the snowy owl for the inchie! Lovely looking desk there Karen, and the tags are so sweet! wish we could find a somehow ‘bigger’ name for tags and smaller makes, there’s so much that goes into them!
