Once again it’s Tuesday where several of us share a drink inspired post at the Altered Book Lover. My husband and I went to the Union Ale House In Virginia Beach for a nice brunch on Saturday. They serve $2 Mimosa’s and bloody Mary’s as a special, so I had a cranberry Mimosa and Hubby had a draft beer. I had a very tasty fish taco that unfortunately was breaded and not grilled, but was worth the gluten as it was beer battered and crispy. They serve sweet potato waffle fries too that were wonderful as well. We enjoyed an afternoon bike ride to work off our splurge.

Here is what I think is a Panicle Hydrangea in a neighbors yard that I admire every year:

And a bee happily Pollinating my snapdragon:

And lastly, a card I made in April for my nephew’s birthday that I’m just now posting. I love this bear from Ellen Hutson, you can have him hold all kinds of embellishments for different occasions. My nephew loves soccer, so I used a soccer ball sticker that I backed with a circle punch scrap and placed in his arms. I used cloud scrapbook paper and made hills with green paper and a die from papertrey Ink. This bear is good for all ages and stages of recipients too.

Enjoy your week!
Hi Karen, I love the bear birthday care you made. Your meal sounds delicious, and your bike ride sounds perfect to finish up your day. Pretty blooms, and drink sounded nice too-Happy T

LOVE that bear. Really quite universal, that’s for sure. Nice that you added the soccer ball for your nephew. Thanks for sharing your card, your meal at the Union Ale House, and your mimosa with us for T this Tuesday, dear Karen.

Sorry I am a day late but last night I was exhausted from overdoing it during the day. Smile. I agree with you, I love that bear. He can be used for lots of card themes. And I’d like to try that Wasswehund beer as on shown on your water glass as I love the logo. Hope life’s going well and it was a good T day. hugs-Erika
