It’s Thursday’s Art Date and I’d like to share a tag I created yesterday. The theme is May flowers with pollinators and I combined that with Tag Tuesday’s theme of creating a tag with buttons and/or bows.
The tag is made from scrapbook paper cut to shape, and I added twine, a button and some lace.

I had lot’s of appointments yesterday so I added a treat stop along the way. I had ice cream at Blue Cow in Virginia Beach. This little shop is clean, bright, and smells divine!

“We’re a small batch ice cream company that makes unique and classic flavors from quality ingredients, sourced locally when possible. We spin our own flavors fresh on site, serving up smiles, one hand-crafted scoop at a time.”
Blue Cow Ice Cream Co

I chose a small coffee chip cup, and the coffee was locally sourced from a shop called The Three Ships. Very creamy with just enough chocolate chips. Yum.

The nautical decor adds to the atmospheric fun.

Enjoy your weekend!
I love your pretty tag Karen, fabulous way to use up papers beautiful..

Nice tag. And nice ice cream too. And that ice cream quote is fun. That’s true. Salad is yummy but not as good as ice cream. Hugs-Erika

Hi Karen what a stunning piece of art. I mean it too. I so wish we had a nice ice cream place here. We have two owned by the same person. It’s not fun or nice like this place and the ice cream is amazingly expensive. So nice to see this place. Have a great day today.

Your tag is gorgeous, Karen. I am a huge fan of bookmarks, some of which are beautiful and I treasure them. If this tag were a bookmark it would be held in very high esteem!

Oh, your tag is delightful, but I am enamored with your Blue Cow Ice cream store … and I want that fish for my wall! So cool and unique and now I am hungry for ice cream. My fave is Mint Chocolate Chip, but haven’t had any in a long time because I have made a conscious effort to eliminate sugar from my diet … however, I do allow myself an occasional cheat and I think this may be one of those times. Thank you Karen … it has been a pleasure 🙂
