Hello! I'm a 50 something wife and mother of two girls ~ I started Blogging in March of 2011 on Blogger and just converted to WordPress in Dec 2019. I started paper crafting in 1995 when I first tried embossing with powder, I was so excited and couldn't believe it was so easy to make something so beautiful. Creativeseconds was started as a way of selling secondhand craft supplies and cards on Ebay and Etsy. You will find creative cards, tags, and paper crafting projects here as well as craft room organizational ideas. Follow along with me and comments are welcomed and appreciated.
Sometimes you just need to buy a new stamp set to get your “mojo” going again! When I saw this new set called “Clever cats” by Stampin Up, I knew I had to have it. The cat looks just like my Mojo when stamped in black. I started wondering what else besides a broom the […]

T stands for Time to mail out your Valentine’s! I’ve made a few more for friends and family to share with you and the “T” group at the Altered Book Lover. My drink of Choice this time is the new Pistachio Latte from Starbucks. I don’t like my drinks too sweet so no added sugar […]
Last Week you remember seeing my Valentine Stash of supplies? here are the inchies I created out of that stash to make cards this week: Here are the Valentine’s day cards I’ve created so far: And wisdom, scripture, or thoughts to ponder:
I got the idea to pull out my inherited treasure from Mae’s Food Blog last week where she shared some history on coffee makers. I found my model HERE that sold last April on Etsy: Kat of KoolKatMidCentury writes: “Amazing find! This is the GRAND DAME of mid century coffee percolators as can be noted […]
At Tag Tuesday the current challenge is to use a photo on a tag, and the current Allsorts challenge is requesting “four legged friends”. The first pet pictures I came across were of our childhood Lhasa Apso puppy named Caesar. My sister was learning about Julius Caesar in school at the time and that’s how […]
It’s Wednesday, and that means I can join in with other crafty people at the stamping ground and show what I’m currently working on as well as the state of my work surface. I pulled out the Valentine’s/Wedding & Anniversary bucket full of embellishments with the idea of making Valentine’s this week. Here you will […]
I’m sharing my Tulsi Tea in my Old fashioned Winnie The Pooh Valentine’s mug with you and the folks over at the Altered Book Lover this T day. This past Thursday I made a flower arrangement for my friends birthday that I’ll be sharing as well. A similar arrangement from a local florist would be […]
